Pictures when I went to Fiji from 11 April 1994 to 18 April 1994
I took a direct flight to Fiji on Air Pacific (FJ303, FJ302). A Hotel was Warwick Fiji Resort. That’s a package tour, around 140,000 yen for 8 days. One FJD (Fiji dollar) equaled 79.61 yen.
It’s a packaged group tour. Arriving at Nadi, a guide took us to go sightseeing downtown. After lunch, the guide took us to the hotel.
Meals are not included. Buffet-style breakfast was $16.5/pax, and Lunch for two was about FJD20. Dinner for two was about from FJD50 to FJD80.
I could find beautiful fish while snorkeling near shore.

When we arrived at the hotel, it was raining. But Other days were very fine. At the hotel, we do having meals, have fun in the sea, and sleep. The hotel had some activities every day so that guests were not bored. Guests got a piece of paper that described “Today’s Activities” every morning. It’s a demonstration of climbing a palm tree, or roasting pig whole in the backyard of the hotel, for example.
At the hotel, every day at sunset, the torching ceremony was held. A man wearing traditional clothes was setting fire to torches in the hotel. The walking on fire ceremony was also held twice a week.
We went to Sigatoka and Suva. We also did scuba diving.
